Arnhem Land - August 2025

We just had a Hunter from Russia visit us for a five day hunt. We were blessed with wonderful cool mornings and fine Weather and many nice Buff were seen on the drive into camp. It's a full day from Darwin to get to this remote location, but t's necessary to get right back into rarely hunted locations in order to find the larger older Bulls.

The first day, several nice animals were spotted and the Buffalo were very quite and not too hard to approach. It was clear the area had not had a lot of hunting pressure.

A beautiful mature Bull was arrowed from around 28 yards. Shooting a Matthews Monster Safari the arrow disappeared completely inside the Buff and he was down in seconds. The rest of the hunt was spent checking out new areas and some very nice Trophies were seen.
